Living with Scleroderma - The Benefits of Wills

The Benefits of Wills

WRITING A WILL GIVES YOU CONTROL OVER YOUR FUTURE AND THE FUTURE OF YOUR ASSETS.

Purpose

There are many different types of wills that can benefit the person who takes the time and initiative to write a will. Often many people think that wills are unnecessary if you aren’t wealthy. However it is important to write a will, so that you can direct what happens to you should you become ill (e.g. Living wills, and Advance Health Care Directives),

and it allows you to determine what happens to your assets if you die. A will permits you to decide who owns your car, your home, your assets and your personal belongings and it will prevent having others fight over your belongings in the event of your death.
